Men are less conscious about cleanliness as compared to women. They do not change their underwear as regularly as women do. In cold countries due to the harsh cold climate, they tend to shower less, and as result of which they remain in the same underwear for a longer period of time. Men pay less importance to hygiene and are dependent upon women to do their chores. They do not wash clothes so frequently. They are lazy of course.
Men maintain less standards of hygiene as compared to women since they do not change their underwear regularly. Women manage their household affairs single-handedly as they are expected to do their own household chores. Men, on the other hand, expect their womenfolk to do their work, be it their mothers or their wives. They are less clean as compared to women. Let us study this further:
Men do not change their underwear so regularly, why so?
- Men from childhood are not expected to take care of their laundry. Their belief system expects their mothers do the job. Women on the other hand perform such tasks at an early age as it is expected of them
- Men are lazy to do their laundry. They depend upon their mothers or their wives to do it
- Sense of hygiene is less as compared to women. They could not be bothered about wearing an underwear for long
- Weather conditions often affect a person’s lifestyle. Many men living in cold weather do not wash their underwear
- Men fail to realize that the bacteria formed in unwashed underwear could result in diseases or skin problems. Here also they are lazy to change their living habits. Washing underwear involves time and effort
- Single men tend to neglect hygiene more than their married counterparts. There is no woman to check them. Their girlfriends are there, but a wife has better say in such matters
Keeping your underwear clean is essential to maintain basic hygiene, but men are far from it, particularly single men. Women are traditionally expected to do the household chores and keep their spouses underwear clean. Single men do not have such an advantage and tend to delay their laundry.

I would like to add my comment about this. I have been trying to find out why men will not change their underwear compared to us as women. I have been married to my husband for 6 years and I observe the way he clean and if he changes his underwear. My husband will go for 2 weeks or more without changing his underwear. He would get in the bed and will not wash his feet. Now if I oppose a question to this then I am wrong for asking. I just like a clean environment and I want my husband to be clean as well. I do not know what to do but if someone find out please let me know because it would really help me a whole lot.
